Alibaba-backed Dexmal seeks $3B valuation for its robot software brain
Dexmal, a Chinese startup building embodied AI (the control software, not the robot body), is raising at a roughly $3B (20B yuan) valuation, backed by Alibaba, NIO Capital and Zhipu. Founder Tang Wenbin says he expects China's humanoid field to consolidate within 12 months, with firms stuck in small trials at risk. Vendor-reported valuation, round not yet closed.

Agility Robotics files confidentially to go public through a SPAC
Agility submitted a draft S-4 for its merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI, the paperwork step toward listing via a blank-check shell company (SPAC). It also named Michael Beer CFO and opened a Fremont facility to build training data. This is the maker of Digit, deployed on paying pilots at GXO and Toyota, moving toward public markets. No deal terms or valuation disclosed.

Dexterity expands autonomous FedEx trailer loading to a Maryland hub
Dexterity extended its multi-year FedEx work to the Hagerstown, Maryland hub, where its arms load trailers autonomously. This is a production deployment, not a demo, and builds on Foresight, Dexterity's world model trained on over 100 million autonomous actions in its customers' facilities. No unit count or contract value disclosed for the new site.
